An Introduction to IoT and Electronics – 19th April 2018

19th April from 6.30pm - Minor Oak, Nottingham

What's it about?

We’ll explore the various IoT Platforms and the software used to drive them.

We’ll also go through some basic Electronics and show how easy it is to get started!

What will we be doing?

We’ll be discussing the various IoT Platforms; Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Particle, MxChip, Feather, Micro:bit, Microchip etc.

We’ll then go into the various peices of Software, Python, Scratch, Arduino IDE.

Finally we’ll cover some basic Electronics and principles and show how easy it is to get started with IoT

What do we need to bring?

Yourself and a willingness to learn!

Pete Gallagher:

Pete is Co-Organiser of Notts IoT and Notts Dev Workshop, a LATi board member and the owner of PJG Creations – A Software and IT consultancy based in Loughborough.

Pete has experience of .net Desktop, Web Development in ASP, PHP and Javascript and even dabbles in a little Assembly Language from time to time!
